In 1910, the former Diamond Exchange was designed by Gerrit van Arkel in the Art Nouveau style. It has been a national monument since 2004. The building has been completely renovated four times, also after a fire in 1956. The current owners finished the last renovation in 2019. A floor with a glass Dome has been added as well as an extra basement floor with parking space. The monumental rooftop edges have also been restored to their original state.
The building was named the “Best refurbished building” during the MIPIM 2020. The office is rented out as the Capital C Flex concept.
